API is the professional college of real estate agents founded in Catalonia with nationwide coverage. Membership is not a marketing badge. It is a formal commitment to a code of conduct, backed by an ethics committee formed by jurists that investigates complaints of malpractice and can expel members who fail to comply.

Every API member completes a 250-hour certified training path in real estate practice, valuation and mortgage advisory. Members hold access to professional tools that include closing-price data obtained through the Land Registry, a resource that non-member agencies do not have.

For buyers and sellers, the API seal is a guarantee. In a market that remains largely unregulated, it is one of the few external markers that distinguishes a rigorous professional from an agent operating without oversight.
